The future has arrived, are we ready?

Exponential technologies have already changed our lives radically. We can only sense the changes that are ahead of us. 

What awaits us? How will the key areas of life and work change? Can we prepare for these changes through excellent success in school and a high grade point average in college? Is it a realistic estimate that half of the occupations that exist today will disappear? What challenges will be faced by some of the most attractive professions? How do we learn if we don't know what we are preparing for? How can we direct ourselves, if we do not know which occupations will exist and how these existing ones will change?
